Privacy Policy

Capital Health maintains the confidentiality and privacy of individuals' personal and health information while collecting, using and disclosing information in compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Health Information Act. Capital Health supports the right of individuals or their authorized representatives to access, and request corrections to, health information about themselves, subject to specific restrictions, as authorized by the Health Information Act or other legislation. Capital Health will not collect, use or disclose personal or health information in any manner that is not in accordance with its duties and established policies. Capital Health may disclose health information on a routine basis to other custodians for approved purposes as authorized by the Health Information Act.
